Fungal vaginitis recurring

Recurrent fungal vaginitis may be related to factors such as decreased immunity, irregular medication, poor hygiene habits, poor control of diabetes, and lack of synchronized treatment of spouses. 2. Irregular use of medication

Typical symptoms include short-term improvement after medication but frequent recurrence. 3. Poor hygiene habits

5. Spouses are not treated simultaneously

Male partners may become asymptomatic carriers, causing reinfection through sexual contact. Both parties need to receive treatment at the same time and avoid unprotected sex during this period. Spouses can use topical bifonazole cream, and female patients can use terbinafine vaginal effervescent tablets. If necessary, fungal culture can be performed to guide medication.

Keep the vulva clean and dry, and avoid overuse of antibiotics and estrogen drugs. You can consume an appropriate amount of sugar-free yogurt every day to regulate the flora, choose loose cotton underwear and sterilize it at high temperature. During the treatment period, monthly reexamination will be carried out until 3 months after the symptoms completely disappear. If the symptoms occur more than 4 times within a year, long-term suppressive therapy should be considered. Diabetic patients should strictly control blood sugar, and those with low immunity can use immunomodulators under the guidance of a doctor.
