Precautions after circumcision

The shape of boys’ reproductive organs is completely different from that of women. The male reproductive organs include the glans of the penis. We will find that many men need to be circumcised. This is a very common surgery now, mainly to prevent infection and avoid affecting development and sexual life in the future. After circumcision, please pay attention to:

1. Avoid alcohol and spicy drinks.

2. After circumcision, do not do strenuous activities or straddle movements (such as cycling, horseback riding, etc.), and rest more.

3. Drink less water before going to bed and at night, and do not hold back urine to prevent erection. If you have an erection, you can get out of bed and urinate to relieve tension.

4. When bathing after circumcision, follow the doctor's instructions. Try to avoid collision with the genitals, do not wet the wound dressing, and protect the wound.

5. Sexual intercourse is prohibited within 1 month after stitches are removed.

6. After circumcision, keep the incision gauze dry and replace it promptly if it falls off or becomes wet to prevent infection.

7. Do not wear tight underwear after circumcision, and do not watch TV or books that are stimulating to the senses.

8. Don’t smoke or drink.
