What is the reason for blood in Xie Jing?

Ejaculatory bleeding, the name of the disease in traditional Chinese medicine. It refers to the kidney system diseases caused by heat entering the seminal chamber and insufficient spleen and kidney qi, causing damage to the blood collaterals in the seminal chamber, bleeding out of the veins, and out along with the semen. Clinical symptoms include the semen being pale pink, bright red, reddish brown or containing blood. In Western medicine, it is called seminal vesiculitis. The prognosis of this disease is good, and most cases can be cured with prompt and accurate treatment. Chronic seminal vesiculitis is easy to relapse, causing erectile dysfunction, anejaculation, etc., and is accompanied by the emergence of a series of psychiatric symptoms.

There are five key causes of the disease:

(1) Exogenous wind-cold, damp-heat poison or damp-cold causes depression and turns into heat. The evil of cold, dampness and fire poison travels along the meridians and disturbs the seminal chamber. The blood collaterals in the seminal chamber are damaged, and the heat forces the blood circulation and the essence and qi are discharged.

(2) Diet may damage the intestines and stomach, weaken the temperament, and prevent Qi from absorbing blood.； Or overeating spicy food, high-fat and oily products, internal cold, dampness and heat poisoning, and heat disturbing the sperm chamber can all lead to ejaculation bleeding.

(3) Greedy nature, excessive labor in the house, resulting in kidney and essence deficiency, sequestration and dereliction of duty； Or the kidney essence is insufficient, the yin deficiency is strong, and the deficiency heat disturbs the seminal chamber, resulting in ejaculation bleeding.

(4) Surgery or trauma to the private parts may damage the blood collaterals in the seminal chamber, causing blood to not return to the menstrual flow, overflowing into the seminal chamber, and mixed essence and Qi coming out. (5) Symptoms of the male reproductive organs are difficult to cure over time. The long-term disease causes qi and blood stasis in the collaterals, poor blood circulation, conductive obstruction of the seminiferous ducts, and semen and blood congestion are combined to form a costly disease.

Syndrome differentiation and treatment

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that ejaculation bleeding is mainly caused by heat disturbing the seminal chamber, collateral damage and blood overflow, or spleen and kidney deficiency, Qi failure to absorb blood, and the main cause of the disease is damage to the blood collaterals in the lower Jiao seminal chamber. The location of the disease of ejaculation bleeding is in the lower jiaojing chamber. Ejaculatory bleeding can occur regardless of the cause of damage to the blood collaterals in the seminal chamber. If the Qi loses its solid state, the blood will overflow outside the pulse and the essence and Qi will be intertwined. During sexual intercourse, the blood will leak out along with the essence. Bleeding during ejaculation may also be seen. The disease can be divided into actual and deficient conditions. Empirical research often shows that the evils of cold, dampness and fire poison force the blood to flow erratically or congestion conduction is blocked, and the blood does not return to the menstruation. Deficiency syndrome is more common with spleen and kidney deficiency. Qi deficiency cannot absorb blood, and blood overflows outside the pulse. The key points of syndrome differentiation and treatment are three aspects: hot blood-pressing, Qi deficiency and congestion conduction block.
