How to tell if testicles are torsion

Whether testicular torsion can be determined through physical examination, imaging examination, urine test, and blood routine.

It can effectively observe whether the testicle on the affected side is enlarged and allergic, whether it is raised, touched, or whether the pain worsens after lifting the testicle on the affected side.

Color Doppler ultrasound is mainly used to observe whether the blood supply in the testis is reduced. If necessary, dynamic examination is required.

Urine examination is mainly to check whether there is bacterial infection. If there is no bacterial infection, acute orchitis or epididymitis can be preliminarily ruled out.

Routine blood tests mainly check whether the number of white blood cells and the ratio of neutrophils are increased. If they are increased, it indicates the presence of inflammation in the body.
