Circumcision device circumcision and suturing is a minimally invasive surgical method that uses disposable circumcision instruments to complete foreskin cutting and suturing. It is mainly used to treat phimosis or redundant foreskin. This surgery is characterized by easy operation, less bleeding, and fast healing. During the surgery, cutting and suturing are completed simultaneously with instruments to avoid the knot reaction of traditional surgery.
The core instrument of circumcision and suturing is a disposable circumcision stapler, which consists of an inner ring, an outer ring and a cutting knife. During the operation, the doctor first inserts the inner ring into the coronal sulcus of the penis, everts the foreskin and fixes the outer ring, pressurizes the inner and outer rings with instruments to clamp the foreskin tissue, and then activates the cutting knife to complete the circular excision. The suture staples built into the instrument will automatically sew the wound edge while cutting, allowing cutting and suturing to be completed in one step. This surgery usually takes 10-15 minutes, and the blood loss during the surgery is less than 1 ml. There is no need to remove the sutures after the surgery, and the staples will fall off naturally as the wound heals. Compared with traditional surgery, circumcision surgery can effectively reduce intraoperative trauma, reduce the probability of postoperative edema, and make scars flatter after the incision heals. However, you should be careful to avoid strenuous activities within 24 hours after surgery, keep the wound dry and clean, and use antibiotic ointment as directed by your doctor to prevent infection.
Postoperative care requires daily disinfection of the wound with iodophor, and wearing loose underwear to reduce friction and avoid urine contamination of the wound. Bathing is prohibited within 1 week after surgery, and sexual life and strenuous exercise are prohibited within 2 weeks after surgery. If symptoms such as persistent bleeding, severe pain or fever occur, you should seek follow-up consultation in time. The diet should be light, consume more high-quality protein and vitamin C to promote tissue repair, and avoid spicy and irritating foods. Most patients can fully recover within 2-3 weeks after surgery, and the incision scars gradually soften after 3-6 months.
