The Traditional Chinese Medicine and Health Big Data Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance was established in Beijing

　　On December 27, 2015, the TCM Health Big Data Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance was announced in Beijing. Huang Luqi, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and executive vice president of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, pointed out that the development of traditional Chinese medicine will play an increasingly important role in my country's health field. The traditional Chinese medicine industry has formed a large amount of clinical research data in the service process. These data are a valuable asset. The ancient books and documents of traditional Chinese medicine themselves have also formed a large amount of knowledge and data. When combined with the health needs of the people, the health data formed will be health big data of great value.

　　It is reported that the Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Big Data Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance was initiated and established by a total of 101 domestic and foreign medical institutions, universities and scientific research institutions, business units, investment financial institutions and other social groups. Based on the informatization needs of the development of traditional Chinese medicine and the driving force of the Internet and traditional Chinese medicine, with the goal of improving the technological innovation capabilities of my country's traditional Chinese medicine big data industry and realizing the informatization of traditional Chinese medicine, and with the guarantee of a credibility contract, it has formed a cooperation and sharing platform for joint innovation, complementary advantages, and benefit sharing. The alliance aims to organize the governing units and others to focus on the key issues of technological innovation in the traditional Chinese medicine big data industry, carry out technical cooperation on traditional Chinese medicine big data, and form an industrial technology standard platform service. It will provide support for the effective division of labor and reasonable connection of traditional Chinese medicine innovation resources, implement technology transfer, accelerate the application of scientific and technological achievements, and enhance the overall competitiveness of my country's traditional Chinese medicine big data industry and traditional Chinese medicine informatization. It will also provide support for exchanges and learning for the integration of talents and the interaction of personnel.

　　The alliance elected Zhang Boli, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and president of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, and Wang Longde, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and president of the Chinese Society of Preventive Medicine, as chairman of the alliance's board of directors; Liu Depei, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and researcher at the School of Basic Medical Sciences of China Union Medical University, and Huang Luqi, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and executive vice president of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, as director of the alliance's commissioner committee.

　　The conference also held discussions on the latest theoretical technologies of big data, population and health data, traditional Chinese medicine and health service planning, as well as Internet + traditional Chinese medicine and traditional Chinese medicine clinic health information cloud platform. In the near future, the alliance will focus on the aggregation platform and sharing mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine big data resources.
