At present, the domestic health care system promotes inclusive mental health services at the grassroots level. The core of the "Five Ones" is to establish a dynamically updated mental health self-assessment file, complete a professional-led face-to-face psychological assessment, participate in at least one group psychological counseling that adapts to one's own needs, obtain a tailor-made mental health intervention plan, and enjoy at least one follow-up follow-up service.
However, the "Five Ones" have never been a fixed standard across the country. In different scenarios, the content will be adjusted according to the characteristics of the people served, so there is no need to worry about whether the items are correct. For example, versions implemented in primary and secondary schools tend to be more focused on daily behavior guidance, and the items will be replaced with content that is more suitable for students' growth: at least one outdoor physical exercise every day, at least one in-depth parent-child communication every week, at least one hobby practice every month, at least one professional psychological screening every semester, and at least one popular science lecture on family mental health every year. ; The "Five Ones" in the EAP services purchased by enterprises often replace group assistance with topics such as workplace stress adjustment and workplace boundary establishment. Intervention plans will also include content such as work rhythm adjustment and colleague communication skills that are more in line with the needs of working people.
A while ago, I was working as an assistant at a psychological service station on the street. When I met Uncle Li, who had just retired, he followed the general version of the "Five Ones" process. Before, he always felt that he was panicking when he had nothing to do after retirement. He was also afraid that he would be laughed at and "hypocritical" if he said he was in a bad mood, so he never thought of seeking psychological help. First, he filled in a self-assessment file with a QR code issued by the community. The background alerted him to a tendency to be mildly depressed. The social worker took the initiative to make an appointment with him for a face-to-face assessment. It was just in time for the retiree adaptation group that month and he was invited to participate. The final plan for him was to attend a calligraphy and painting class in the community twice a week and go to the park with his wife for half an hour every evening. At the end of this month, the social worker would call back to check on his status. After the whole process, he said that he felt much more enlightened and did not feel like he was "seeing a mental illness". There was no burden at all.
Of course, there are different voices in the industry about this standardized "Five Ones". Some people think that too fixed a process can easily ignore the individual needs of special groups, such as people with disabilities and children in need. It is difficult to adapt to general group assistance content. Instead, following the process becomes completing the task and has no practical effect.; Some people also feel that for the general public who have never had contact with mental health services before, this standardized procedure has lowered the threshold for seeking help. They don’t have to figure out how to find resources and what to do. They can get basic psychological support by following the steps, which is suitable for universal promotion.
In fact, no matter how the items are changed, the core logic of the "Five Ones" is to break down the hollow-sounding mental health services into small links that are accessible to ordinary people and easy to implement. It is a bit like the process when we go to an ordinary hospital to see a doctor: registration and creation of medical records, consultation and examination, patient exchange meeting, doctor's prescription, follow-up follow-up, but the scene is changed to the field of psychological services.
