The core reason for the majority of unqualified gynecological health certificates is that infectious diseases that may affect public health were detected during the examination. A few of them have severe inflammation or suspicious genital abnormalities that are temporarily unsuitable for practice.
I have been responsible for health certificate processing at a community health service center for almost five years. Nine out of ten unqualified cases I encountered were abnormal infectious indicators such as Trichomonas, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, and Chlamydia trachomatis detected during routine leucorrhea or pathogen screening. I just met a young girl who applied for a job at a chain milk tea shop last week. She usually doesn't feel any discomfort in her private parts, but her leucorrhea during ovulation was a bit thinner than usual. The result was positive for trichomonas, and she failed immediately. She got red-eyed on the spot, thinking it was due to her misdeeds in her private life. In fact, it may have been caused by using unclean towels when staying in a hotel or soaking in a public bathtub. I took metronidazole orally as a plug according to the doctor's instructions. After a week, the test turned negative and I could get my certificate again.
However, not all inflammations will be stuck. This criterion actually has a lot to do with the industry you want to work in. For example, if it is just ordinary bacterial vaginosis or mild fungal vaginitis, which is not highly contagious, you can basically pass the health certificate of an ordinary enterprise. However, if you are applying for a post such as a confinement nanny, a nursery school teacher, a swimming pool lifeguard, etc. who have direct contact with people with weak immunity such as children and pregnant women, or a position that directly deals with public water bodies and public supplies, you will most likely be required to receive treatment first before obtaining the certificate. This area has been controversial. Some people think that ordinary non-infectious inflammation does not affect the work at all, and card workers are over-screened. Others think that special service positions must maintain the first level of public health. Both opinions have a valid basis. The implementation standards in different regions do differ.
In addition to inflammation and infectious pathogens, a very small number of unqualified cases are suspected organic lesions. Last month, there was a 40-year-old supermarket promoter who felt a cauliflower-like growth on her cervix during a routine gynecological examination. We ruled her out at the time and specifically told her to go to a large hospital for HPV and TCT screening. Later, she came back to express her gratitude and said that she was discovered early and it was just a precancerous lesion. After a small surgery in time, she was fine. This situation is actually an additional significance of the health certificate screening. It is not intentional, but it can really help everyone find deeply hidden problems early.
Don’t panic if you are really found to be unqualified. Ask first what specific abnormality it is. Most of them are minor problems that can be cured with a few days of medication. After the reexamination, you can get the certificate normally. Don’t use medication randomly by yourself.
