The answer depends on the situation. Normal scientific fitness will not increase women's uric acid, but wrong fitness methods may increase uric acid levels. Don't blame the gym directly.
Last year, I took a female member who was born in 1996 as a typical example. The uric acid level in her previous physical examination had been stable at around 300 μmol/L. She had been training hard for two weeks after applying for the card and lost 3 pounds of body fat. When she went for a physical examination, her uric acid level soared to 426 μmol/L. She was so scared that she wanted to cancel the card. I took her and went through her diet and exercise records for three days before I found the problem - she was trying to flush every day. For the efficiency of fat loss, I followed the online class and danced for 1 hour of high-intensity aerobics + 40 minutes of strength. After training, I drank freshly squeezed lime juice and two protein bars when I was hungry. I had boiled chicken breast + broccoli for dinner. I drank less than 1000ml of water every day. This means that I take in too much purine, have less water, and exercise temporarily makes the body produce more metabolic waste. It is strange that uric acid is not high.
In fact, the fitness circle has been arguing about this matter for a long time. Some bloggers say that high uric acid after exercise is a normal metabolic fluctuation and should be ignored. Others say that fitness can induce high uric acid and advise girls not to practice blindly. Both views are too extreme. If you think about it, your body consumes energy quickly during strenuous exercise, and the amount of purine produced will be higher than usual. If you replenish water in time after exercise and eat normally, the excess uric acid will be excreted in the urine quickly. At most, it will be a transient increase, just like your white blood cells will be high after running 800 meters. After two days of rest, it will return to the normal value, which is not a problem at all. I am afraid that in order to achieve quick results, I am like a member who makes high-purine and high-sugar "fitness foods" while training until I am dehydrated without drinking water. If I do this for a long time, women's innate advantage of estrogen to help excrete uric acid will not be able to withstand it, and the temporary increase in uric acid will really turn into long-term high uric acid.
There are at least a dozen female friends around me who have been exercising regularly for four or five years. The uric acid levels in the annual physical tests are all within the normal range. They don’t pay much attention to their daily training. They do strength training three times a week and aerobic training twice a week. Drink water when you are thirsty after training, and eat some meat and fruit when you are hungry. I have never heard of anyone suffering from high uric acid. If your uric acid level is found to be high just after training, don’t panic. Drink enough water normally, adjust your diet, and don’t train to death all at once. If you check again after a week, it will probably be back to normal. There is no need to be afraid to go to the gym just because of an exception.
